I have truly enjoyed teaching and the time that I have spent here at UF. There is nothing more rewarding than mentoring and helping to develop students into healthcare professionals that not only contribute to their individual departments or institutions, but also have a large impact on our healthcare system.

I came to the Nuclear Medicine Institute (NMI) at the University of Findlay (UF) as the Assistant Program Director and as an Assistant Professor in 2002. I became the Director for NMI in 2003. In 2008, I was awarded tenure, became the Director for the Medical Laboratory Science Program and became the Chair of Diagnostic Services Department. I became the Director for Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography Program in 2010. In 2011, I was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor. I became the Director of the Healthcare Management program in 2012 and also became the Radiation Safety Officer for the University. In 2014, the Diagnostic Services Department grew to include the Health Informatics, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography and Vascular Sonography programs.

Prior to coming to UF, I was the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the University Medical Center Health System and the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor for the University Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. In the RSO role, I oversaw the radiation safety issues for the entire network, including all the hospitals and clinics. As the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, I oversaw all aspects of the nuclear medicine department, including budgets, regulatory issues, short and long range planning and personnel issues.

Prior to that, I was the Lead Technologist for the Nuclear Medicine Department at the Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. In this role, I oversaw the day to day operations of the nuclear medicine department.

I currently hold a Radiologic License from the States of Ohio and Texas.
