Careers

At the University of Findlay, you’ll graduate ready to step confidently into your teaching career. Through early classroom experiences, direct connections with school leaders, and career-focused preparation, our students build the skills and networks needed to get hired—often before graduation.

Students participate in one-on-one mock interviews with principals and superintendents, gaining real feedback from professionals who hire teachers. In addition, the annual Education Expo connects students with school districts from across the country, where many secure interviews and job offers ahead of graduation.

The career outlook for educators remains strong. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are tens of thousands of teaching job openings each year due to retirements and workforce demand.

With hands-on experience, personalized career preparation, and direct access to hiring professionals, Findlay graduates enter the workforce prepared to make an immediate impact.
