Congratulations to All University of Findlay Graduates!

We’re thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our graduates! Below you’ll find important information about commencement day as details become available.

Students, families, and guests are encouraged to arrive on campus early to secure parking and allow time for student check-in, which begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex.

While students prepare for their milestone moment, guests may find seating and get ready for the celebration. The graduate ceremony begins at 9 a.m., with graduates taking their seats and remaining seated until their names are called. Each student will walk across the stage to be individually recognized, then return to their seat for the remainder of the ceremony.

The undergraduate ceremony will take place at 2 p.m., also at the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. Students should arrive early for check-in and lineup instructions. Guests are welcome to find seating and enjoy the celebration as undergraduate graduates are individually recognized.

After each ceremony, graduates will reunite with their loved ones to celebrate their accomplishments and take photos to mark the occasion.

Additional Information

Academic Regalia

All graduates must wear appropriate apparel in order to participate in commencement. Please place your order through the University Bookstore at 301 Davis St., between the normal business hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday or 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday. There is a $100 (tax included) charge for a full undergraduate commencement unit. The master’s commencement full unit price is $140 (tax included). All PharmD and DPT doctoral regalia will be $180 (tax included). The last day to order commencement regalia will be March 13.

You may call the bookstore at 419-434-4561 or stop by at your convenience to place your order. Orders may be picked up during the normal business hours at the bookstore beginning April 18.

Disability Accommodations

Contact Heather Vennekotter, Director of Accommodation and Academic Support Center, at 419-434-5532. Parking for people with disabilities will be available in front (east side) and behind the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex (west side). Closed captioning is available during the ceremonies.

Flowers and Teddy Bears

Flowers or teddy bears for your graduate will be available for purchase the day of.

Outstanding Bills

Make sure all financial requirements of the University have been satisfied by contacting the Business Office at 419-434-4690.

Photography

We have arranged for a photo to be taken of each graduate receiving his or her diploma. Please allow two weeks for delivery of proofs. You may also order online at graduationfoto.com. Photos of the arch ceremony may be downloaded by going to flickr.com/photos/uf_images/ You must register to receive your photos of either ceremony.
