Exercise science is an interdisciplinary field focused on the study of maintaining and improving the health of patients and clients across the age spectrum. The Exercise Science for Health Professions Program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for entry into a wide variety of disciplines, particularly health professions graduate programs.
Doctor of Physical Therapy in Six Years (3+3)
Students complete undergraduate courses during the first three years and begin the professional phase of the physical therapy program during your fourth year. You will receive a bachelor’s degree at the end of your fourth year and a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the end of your sixth year.

Early Assurance
This degree is part of the early assurance gateway program utilized by the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. Incoming freshmen with strong GPAs and ACT or SAT scores, qualify to have their spots in these programs “saved” until they complete the first three years of the Exercise Science for Health Professions Program.
