Adolescent Young Adult (AYA) Licensure

An adolescent and young adult license (AYA) in Ohio allows you to teach grades 7-12.

About the Program

An adolescent and young adult license (AYA) in Ohio allows you to teach grades 7-12.

If you already hold a bachelor’s degree in an area other than education from a regionally accredited institution, then you may qualify for our post-baccalaureate licensure program.

Diversify yourself even more by adding just five specific graduate courses to any of these content areas to earn your Master of Arts in Education.

University of Findlay licensure programs meet Ohio requirements. If you plan to be licensed in another state, contact that state’s department of education for their specific eligibility and requirements.
