Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability
Our bachelor’s degree in environment, health, safety, (EHS) and sustainability was developed with leaders from the environmental, health and safety industry. Students gain an understanding of environmental and safety issues by applying scientific knowledge in real situations through specialized training, traditional class and laboratory work, co-ops and internships. Findlay is the only university in the U.S. that integrates an academic program with a nationally recognized five-acre emergency response training site – the All Hazards Training Center.

“The best thing about this major is you get to take classes in a hands-on facility where you actually get to go out and have experiences like sampling. I learn better when I’m out in the field doing actual work. In this major you get down and dirty and I like that.”
