Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

The University of Findlay offers a wide range of undergraduate programs. Undergraduate students can start classes twice a year at Findlay, in the Fall (August) and in the Spring (January). Undergraduate students who need to improve their English proficiency before enrolling in their major may also start the IELP program in the summer (May) for an 8-week ELS section. 

Application Deadlines:

  • Spring Application Deadline – November 10

  • Summer Application Deadline – April 1

  • Fall Application Deadline – June 20

To be admitted to the University of Findlay, students must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.  The ACT or SAT is not required. Additional application criteria are listed below.

The English Test Score requirements can be waived if the student can demonstrate English proficiency. Learn more about the criteria to demonstrate English proficiency below.

Graduate Admission Requirements

All prospective graduate students, including University of Findlay seniors, apply for admission through the University of Findlay’s online application system, found at each graduate program’s website and here. When applying for admission, please select the application that is linked to the graduate program AND entry point you wish to start classes at the University of Findlay.
